Ridiculously Easy & Delicious Roasted Almonds

One of my favorite morning snacks is a small handful of almonds. Roasted almonds from the store used to be my favorite, but I’ve cut back on sodium, and even the lower salt options are still too high.

As an alternative, we buy a big bag of raw almonds from the baking supplies section of the store. They’re sweet and lovely, but it’s not quite the same.

Recently we did a bit of experimenting, and roasted those almonds without the extra oils and salts. They’re a new family favorite! I overheard someone saying they’re better than candy. Seriously, I’m not making that up.

Roasting your own almonds is so easy. There is only one ingredient, and in about 15 minutes you’ll have the perfect healthy, crunchy snack.

Roasted Almonds

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  2.  Spread almonds on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Bake for 10-15 minutes, until they’re golden brown. Watch carefully so that they don’t burn!
  4. Allow to cool.
  5. Store in an airtight container.

It’s ridiculously easy. And delicious.  Enjoy!
